Zeus was the mighty god of thunder, the king of the Greek dodecatheon! <\/span><\/p>\n

The silkscreen has been printed on a cotton t-shirt, with short sleeves, round neck with braid, unisex cut, white color.<\/span><\/p>\n

Manufactured in Greece. 98% cotton, 2% viscose. Wash at 30-40C or cold wash.<\/span><\/p>\n

Do not use a tumble dryer, wash and iron upside down.<\/span><\/p>\n

Zeus was called Zeus in Ancient Greek, a word that in the general case was Zeus, from which the modern Greek name came. <\/span><\/p>\n

According to mythology, Zeus is the god of the sky and of lightning in Greek mythology. <\/span><\/p>\n

He is the youngest child of Saturn and Rhea.<\/span><\/p>\n

In most traditions he is married to Hera. He is known for his love affairs.<\/span><\/p>\n

This led to many pious and heroic descendants, including Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, Persephone (from Demeter), Dionysus, Perseus, Hercules, Helen of Troy, Minos, and the Muses (from the Titan Mnemosyne).<\/span><\/p>\n

From Hera she has obtained Mars, Hebe and Hephaestus (another source says that Hera impregnated Hephaestus herself), <\/span><\/p>\n

while from the oceanic Dione he acquired Aphrodite. Zeus has always been a meteorological god, controller of lightning, thunder and rain.<\/span><\/p>\n

He was the strongest and greatest of all mythological beings and gods. <\/span><\/p>\n

His other emblems were the eagle and the goat.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jupiter, after coming of age, forced Saturn to vomit first the stone and then his siblings, in the reverse order of ingestion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hesiod tells us about the mythical Titanomachy, stating that Zeus and his brothers fought against Saturn and the Titans<\/span><\/p>\n

for dominion over the Earth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Coming from Mount Olympus, they fought the Titans who had fortified themselves on Orthi.<\/span><\/p>\n

This relentless war lasted for ten years, until Zeus received Gaia’s advice to descend to Tartarus and free the Titan brothers, <\/span><\/p>\n

the Cyclops and the Centipedes.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Tartarus he fought the mythical monster Kampi and after defeating it, he freed the Cyclops and the Hundred Hands,<\/span><\/p>\n

who have since become his allies. In gratitude, the Cyclopes gave Hades and Poseidon weapons of war and provided Zeus with lightning,<\/span><\/p>\n

the thunder and the hammer, which have since become symbols of his power.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Hekatogiris accompanied Zeus to the battle, where with their help the gods defeated the Titans by overwhelming them in Tartarus, putting them as their guards, <\/span><\/p>\n

the Hundred Hands. Saturn was imprisoned with the Titans in Tartarus and Night was appointed as his guardian.<\/span><\/p>\n

Later, he was pardoned and became king of the Champs Elysees, where he slept forever.<\/span><\/p>\n

Zeus, at the suggestion of Gaia, assumes supreme authority among the Gods and divides the world into three kingdoms:<\/span><\/p>\n
